I like to be creative! I visited Thorup Strand on a stormy day, with big waves hitting the beach behind the fishing boat.
The obviouse would be to take the shot with the crashing waves behind it. But I went for a long exposure shot to calm the ocean and instead let only the movement in the flags reveal the actual conditions on the day.
The end result - in my eyes - is a well balanced dynamic photograph.
